2026 GSA REGISTRATION FEES
Gymnastics South Africa Membership Registration Fees are payable once every year.
All gymnasts must be registered for membership with Gymnastics South Africa.
This registration is a yearly membership to Gymnastics South Africa.
Membership fees are non-refundable.
GSA/SAGF MEMBERSHIP TO BE REGISTERED YEARLY.
CLUB MEMBERSHIP IS CONTINUOUS (ONGOING) AND NOT YEARLY.
The closing date for re-registrations of gymnasts that have been registered before, 28 February 2026. The club will automatically invoice ALL gymnasts for the Category B Membership Registration.
Should you wish to opt for a different category, you must notify us in writing on email ([email protected]) and attached the necessary documentation such as proof of payment.
The invoice for 2026 registration will reflect on your statement that will be sent end of January 2026.
New members must register upon enrolment.
We do suggest members to register Category B first and upgrade to Category E (Level 1-3 Competitive) or Category A (Level 4+ Competitive) once your gymnast have been deemed ready for competitions.
Please note that your entry fee for a competition will thus be substantially higher.
Please note that you CANNOT upgrade to Category C. So, if Category C applies to you, please contact our office to send you the Category C application forms.
No downgrade of memberships is allowed.
All late re-registrations will be penalized up to 50% additional of the registration fee. There will be no penalties for upgrades of membership.
GSA REGISTRATION 2026
The following Registrations Rules and Categories apply for 2026 to all Gymnastics Clubs that are affiliated and registered with Gymnastics South Africa. Please note the information can change.
All membership registrations are non-refundable.
This registration is for the 2026 calendar year January to December 2026.
CATEGORY A - COMPETITIVE (LEVEL 4+)
R775 per gymnast for the year of 2026
CATEGORY B - NON-COMPETITIVE
R185 per gymnast for the year of 2026
CATEGORY C - COMPETITIVE PDI
R295 per gymnast for the year of 2026, if approved by WCGA. Forms will be sent to you upon request. Form must be emailed back to [email protected]
CATEGORY E - COMPETITIVE
R535 per gymnast for the year of 2026
HOW TO PAY?
GSA/SAGF Membership Registration fees must be paid into the Club's Account. When paying registration fees into the Club’s Bank account please supply the necessary reference: e.g.
Gymnast's NAME + SURNAME + REG
The non-competitive CATEGORY B registration fee will reflect on your February 2026 statement, unless you have notified us for a different category.
The above fees are NOT Competition Entry Fees. This is to register your child with Gymnastics South Africa, making them eligible to pay and enter to compete in competitions. You cannot register your child yourself. Clubs must do registrations on behalf of members. Should a child decide not to compete, then they must still be registered, under Category B.

- These are not competition or coaching fees but membership to Gymnastics South Africa.
- All gymnasts that were registered in 2025 (irrespective of Category) must re-register by 28 February 2026.
- All new gymnasts must register Category B upon enrolment. Upgrade to Category E or Category A should be done at least three weeks before the closure date of the first regional competition or event.
- A Category C registration is allowed if you are currently facing financial hardship and would have registered in Category A or E. This category must be applied for and the application form for Category C can be found on our website or emailed to you on request. All necessary supporting documents are a requirement.
- The registration is only payable once per year, per gymnast - multi-disciplined gymnasts only pay the registration fee once per year and not multiple categories.
CATEGORY A - COMPETITIVE (LEVEL 4+)
R775 per gymnast for the year of 2026
- Gymnasts, Level 4 and higher, wishing to have competitive membership.
- Please note that should there be no competitions, or your child are not able to participate under any circumstance, the registration is final and non-refundable and cannot be downgraded. Gymnasts registered with Category A membership, will be eligible to enter, pay for and compete in regional, provincial, national, and international events. The registration fee does not include competition entry fees, or any other additional fees required for competitions or events.
CATEGORY B - NON-COMPETITIVE
R185 per gymnast for the year of 2026
- All Gymnasts who are uncertain if they will compete or be ready to compete in competitions.
- All Pre-Gym / Gym Animals gymnasts that are not eligible to compete in regional competitions (gymnasts that will be the age 3-5 years by 31 December 2026)
- All WAG & MAG Level 0 gymnasts that are not eligible to compete in regional competitions (gymnasts that will be the age 6 years by 31 December 2026)
- All new Gymnasts (never registered before) who have just started gymnastics and are maybe not ready yet for Competitions this year. When a gymnast becomes ready and wants to participate, they can upgrade to Category E if Level 1-3 or Category A if Level 4 and up.
- The upgrade fee from Category B to A is R605, additional to a competition entry fee.
- The upgrade fee from Category B to E is R400, additional to a competition entry fee.
- There are no downgrade options available.
- Gymnasts will be permitted to compete in our Club Competitions under this Category.
CATEGORY C - COMPETITIVE PDI
R295 per gymnast for the year of 2026, if approved by WCGA. Forms will be sent to you upon request. Form must be emailed back to [email protected]
- These are for gymnasts in Level 1-3 or Level 4+ participating in official Competitions, but the individual's family are currently experiencing financial hardship.
- Due date for re-registration Category C applications is due 28 February 2026.
- You cannot change from Category A, B or E to Category C.
- Due date for new member Category C applications is due at least 6 weeks before competitions.
- New enrolments can apply for Category C membership at the time of enrolment, should the necessary documents be handed in with the club membership application form.
- A Written application and proof of income, for this Category must be handed in to the Club to submit to the Western Cape Gymnastics Association for approval. Application form can be sent to you per request. Gymnasts registered with Category C membership, will be eligible to enter and compete in regional, provincial, national, and international events. The registration fee does not include competition entry fees, or any other additional fees required for competitions or events.
CATEGORY E - COMPETITIVE
R535 per gymnast for the year of 2026
- Gymnasts, Level 1-3, wishing to have competitive membership.
- The upgrade fee from Category E to A is R255, additional to a competition entry fee, should a gymnast be moved from Level 3 to 4 just before the competition season.
- Please note that should there be no competitions, or your child are not able to participate under any circumstance, the registration is final and non-refundable. Gymnasts registered with Category A membership, will be eligible to enter and compete in regional, provincial OR inter club events. The registration fee does not include competition entry fees, or any other additional fees required for competitions or events.
