The Zone VI and Africa Championships saw participants and officials from Algeria; Angola; Congo; Egypt; Mozambique; Nigeria; Namibia; Senegal; South Africa; Tunisia and Zimbabwe. The total number of gymnasts and officials in attendance for both competitions equates to 638.
